Alessandro Castelli

Alessandro Castelli graduated in Trombone under M° Giancarlo Corsini’s  guidance in 1992.

He took the Second Level Diploma in Musical Subjects (trombone and euphonium) with the highest grade  and magna cum laude in 2007. 

In the 90ies he collaborated with  Piccolo Teatro in Milan,  Teatro alla Scala and the RAI National Symphony  Orchestra. He has been collaborating with the Orchestra dei Pomeriggi Musicali as first trombone for the last fifteen years. He played as soloist in a lot of Italian festivals, playing, besides the historic repertoire, pieces for trombone and euphonium solo.

Within tha Jazz ambit he worked, both in concert and in the recording studio, with  Intenational and Italian important musicians, such as  Paolo Tomelleri, Riccardo Fioravanti, Giulio Visibelli, Giuseppe Emmanuele, Antonello Monni, Bob Mintzer, Emilio Soana, Attilio Zanchi, Fabrizio Bosso, Marco Detto and many others.
