The collaboration was born around a multidisciplinary project around non-academic vocality and musical repertoires.
The project is realized and coordinated by MaterElettrica/School of Electronic and Applied Music of “Duni” Conservatory in Matera, and it will take place in two separate moments: the first on July 22nd, on the occasion of the 2017 Edition of Cantiere Internazionale d’Arte di Montepulciano, with a concert devoted entirely to those repertoires; the second part will act as the concluding performance of this year’s Concorso 2 Agosto. During the Concert the Fondazione “Toscanini” Orchestra will perform some of the arrangements wrote for Cantiere, and particularly pieces by Eumir Deodato, in a new orchestration assigned to composer Aurelio Zarrelli.
