Marco Taralli

Marco Taralli was born in 1967 in L’Aquila, where he studied music at the Conservatory of Music “Alfredo Casella” diploma in piano with honors.

He studied composition with Sergio Rendine, orchestra conducting with Gianluigi Gelmetti and, at the Franz Liszt Academy in Budapest, with Erwin Lukacs.Since 1992, the year that marks the debut as a composer with the piece Fog performed by the group Octandre of Bologna, his work led him to collaborate with important figures of the music world just to say Gianluigi Gelmetti, Donato Renzetti, Michele Mariotti, Antonino Fogliani as conductor, or others artists like Marianna Pizzolato, Luca Vignali, Daniela Barcellona, Giuseppe Andaloro.

He is known for a series of bright and lucky Symhoinc works, opera and musical theater works, commissioned by leading Italian and foreign musical institutions like Sydney Symphony Orchestra or Monte Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra, and by important Festival like Festival Monteverdi, Rossini Festival in Wildbad, or Festival of  Valle d’Itria that for the first time in his thirty-eight years of life, commissioned the one act opera NǓR on July of 2012.

His compositions are performed in the most important Italian and foreign Opera Theater such as Rome Opera House in Rome, Carlo Felice Opera House in Genoa, Verdi Opera House in Trieste, Bologna Opera House in Bologna, Petruzzelli Opera House in Napoli, Liceu Opera House in Barcelona.
