The Concorso 2 Agosto is proud to announce the Conductor of 2021 Edition will be Marco Angius.
Marco Angius is an excellent conductor for the contemporary musical repertoire. Among the most recent productions: Jakob Lenz by Rihm (Teatro Comunale di Bologna), La volpe astuta by Janácek (National Academy of Santa Cecilia), Luca Mosca’s Italy of destiny at the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino and the intense concert activity with the ‘Ensemble of the Accademia Teatro alla Scala, a young formation of which he is also artistic coordinator. Since September 2015 Marco Angius is the musical and artistic director of the Padua and Veneto Orchestra.

The final concert of Concorso 2 Agosto International Composition Competition will be play by the Orchestra of Teatro Comunale di Bologna.
