1996 Edition

Second edition of the International Composing Competition "2 Agosto"

The second edition of International Composition Competition “2 Agosto” takes place in Bologna in 1996.

This initiative is promoted by the Association of Families of the Victims of the Bologna Station Massacre of August 2, 1980, the Municipality of Bologna, the Solidarity Committee for the Victims of Massacres, and the Teatro Comunale di Bologna.

The competition aims to commemorate the victims of the terrorist attack that occurred at the Bologna railway station on August 2, 1980, using music as an expressive form for memory and reflection
